We design and fit metal framed windows in conservation projects all over the country. We can measure existing windows and copy them, remove historic glass and re-insert, and clean and restore old metal windows.
Glazing is often required to be in historic 'crown glass' or similar. We have supplies of similar glass and can fit whatever conservation requirements are. In the examples here, the glass used is in fact laminated - the building is in an area where yobs frequently smash windows in the houses, and laminated glass has prevented total destruction of the windows!
Fittings can be to customer design or requirements. In the examples here, we used hand forged monkeytail fittings, which are powdercoated.
