RICS blog – How to deal with damp ..

Some time back, the RICS published a load of stuff about dealing with damp. I was very critical of it.

I’m delighted to say that I was invited to meet up with some of the senior folk at RICS HQ – and that there are now some very fruitful and productive discussions taking place with a view to finding ways of better educating RICS members about understanding damp and its diagnosis. I have to say that I think there is a sea change going on – and the Conservation industry, together with other leading experts in the understanding of moisture issues, are finally getting together.

Lets hope that things continue to head in the right direction – and hats off to the RICS for taking the issue by the balls and dealing with it.
